The audience is never abstract.
Behind every view, download, and share is a person navigating something real. That truth governs how we write, produce, and publish — across all 26,000+ assets and everything still to come.
Standards we hold ourselves to.
Evidence-Informed, Always
Mental health content shapes how people understand themselves. Our work is grounded in psychological science and reviewed for accuracy — clarity never comes at truth’s expense.
No Exploitation of Struggle
We do not sensationalize crisis, trade on trauma, or use suffering as a hook. People’s hardest moments are treated with the dignity we would want for our own.
Made to Be Reached
Media that can’t be accessed can’t help. We design for readability, captioning, plain language, and cultural fluency — so the work meets people where they are.
Communities Own Their Stories
Identity-centered work is made with communities, not about them. Lived experience is a source of authority in our process, not a prop in our content.
Media is not treatment.
Our work educates, connects, and destigmatizes — it does not diagnose or treat. We are explicit about that line in everything we publish, and we point audiences toward qualified professional care.
